AAA 1/15/11 Ecatepec Part 2 of 2 Review

AAA 1/15/11 Ecatepec, MX Part 2

A video package recaps the Guerra de Titanes PPV and the feud between La Parka and Cibernetico that happened on Part 1.

Konnan comes out with La Milicia and introduces them to the crowd. He runs down everyone in AAA and professes the dominance of La Milicia and the Legión Extranjera. El Mesias’ music hits and he comes out and clears house. He starts out by wishing everyone a Happy New Year, what a nice guy that Mesias is. He says that L.A. Park cheated to beat him at Guerra de Titanes but he knows he is going to get his win back, and that he is going to break Konnan’s teeth when this is all over. TE GUSTE, O NO TE GUSTE.

Octagon promo, he calls out Superfly and tells him he is going to take his hair. Superfly promo, he talks about pairing up with Konnan and taking down everyone in AAA, and he’s going to take it to the next level in his career.

4. La Milicia (Decnis, Billy Boy, Tigre Cota) vs. Dark Family (Dark Ozz, Dark Espiritu, Dark Cuervo)

Dark Family is representing La Secta in this match (Mesias’ stable) against La Milicia who is representing the Legión Extranjera. Milicia starts by jumping the tecnicos. Cuervo gets held in the corner and Tigre Cota runs at him with his army helmet on and headbutts him with a low blow. Now, to me, that is a very extreme version of a low blow, and I’m sure Ozz would agree. Triple team on Espiritu and Decnnis gives him a wheelbarrow slam off the middle rope. Then they do a cool triple team spot where Tigre and Billy hold Ozz up in a suplex position and Decnis crossbodies him off the top, then a spinebuster and clothesline combination followed by Tigre coming off the top with a pretty good Randy Savage style elbow drop for a two count when Espiritu breaks up the pin. They hold up Espiritu for a big boot but Espiritu ducks and they kick Decnis who gets knocked out of the ring and Espiritu hits a big tope on him, and it turns the tide for the tecnicos. 3 on 3 beatdown by the tecnicos in the ring and they isolate Decnis with a splash in the corner followed by another low blow against the ring post. Teams return to their corners and Ozz and Decnis face off and have a nice exchange and then Billy runs in but gets monkey flipped onto a fallen Decnis, then a dropkick into a senton by Ozz onto Decnis and Billy. Commercial break and we return to the rudos regrouping on the outside. Decnis in with Cuervo now and gets knocked out of the ring after an exchange. Tigre Cota runs in and gets slid across the ring on his face to the outside. Tigre Cota runs in now and gets a quebradora from Cuervo for his efforts and Espiritu tags in. Tigre and Espiritu face off with chops then a armdrag by Espiritu. Headscissors by Espiritu send Tigre out and Billy jumps in with a spinebuster on Espiritu. They hit the ropes and Espiritu hits a great armdrag on Billy and sends him out but Decnis hits him out of nowhere with a back elbow to knock him down. They hit the ropes now and Espiritu hits a powerslam and legdrop for a two count when Tigre breaks it up and Ozz runs in to face him. Big arm drag by Ozz who then ducks out of the way from a diving Tigre who flies through the middle rope out of the ring. Billy knocks Ozz out of the ring and faces Espiritu who gives him a big powerbomb for a two count when Decnis breaks it up. Decnis hits a rocker dropper on Espiritu and goes for a submission but Cuervo breaks it up. Chaos in the ring followed by stereo topes to the outside by Espiritu and Cuervo. Tigre goes for an asai moonsault on Ozz inside and but Ozz slides out of the way and hits a pumphandle driver for a three count and the Dark Family wins. After the match the Legión Extranjera jumps in the ring and beats down the Dark Family until LA BAMBA hits and Octagon runs out with AERO STAR and El Elegido who even the odds and send the rudos running. They challenge Superfly, Alan Stone, and Chris Stone to a trios match later. This was a good match with a lot of crowd heat especially at the finish for Ozz’s big move, both trios work well together and Ozz has a big star presence feel to him with the AAA audience.

5. Octagon, El Elegido, & Aero Star vs. Superfly, Alan Stone, & Chris Stone

Aero Star and Chris start, Aero bounces around the ring for a little bit and Alan dropkicks him off the top behind his back. Chris chops him against the ropes and goes to whip him against the ropes but Aero Star hits an amazing springboard arm drag variation with a backflip that sends him outside and tumbling into the crowd, then armdrags Alan out and hits a great spinning headscissors on Superfly. Elegido jumps in and goes to work on Alan. Alan gets the better of the exchange and poses and gyrates in the ring to the approval of the women in the audience. Chris tags in and knocks Elegido down and goes for some less than flattering poses of his own followed by some karate poses. Both these poses need work. Elegido fights back and cleans house and then does some of his own poses. What we have here is a battle for pose supremacy. Commercial break and Alan and Octagon are in the ring now. Armdrag and quebradora by Octagon and then Chris is in who gets karate kicked around and then goes for a big spear but Octagon ducks and he falls out of the ring. Rudos jump in and beat down the tecnicos in the ring. Superfly gets a hold of Octagon and starts beating on him on the outside. Alan slams Elegido with a chair on the outside. More chaos in the ring and the rudos beat down Aero Star with the triple team toss to the outside. Elegido gets beat down by the rudos now and they throw him out as well. They beat on Octagon in the ring but he manages to send them all out and then hits a big armdrag on Superfly who then high tails it for the locker room with Octagon in pursuit. Inside, bulldog and springboard dropkick by Aero Star to Chris and an awesome backward springboard tope to the outside. Superfly sneaks back down the aisle with a chair as the match goes on and hits Elegido who gets rolled up for a three count. Octagon comes back down and chases Superfly through the crowd as Milicia celebrates with Elegido’s mask in the ring. Aero Star made this match worth watching but Octagon is always great to see. The Aero Star backwards tope spot was really incredible and they couldn’t replay it enough.

Electroshock promo, he says he is now ADL: Alta Definicion Luchistica and calls out Silver King.

Damian and Halloween are getting ready for their match and talking in the locker room about how they are better than the Psycho Circus. Damian is on his cell phone and tells his son Bestia to be ready for the match.

6. Lucha Estelar: Perros Del Mal (Damian 666, Halloween, Bestia 666) vs. Psycho Circus (Psycho Clown, Murder Clown, Monster Clown)

There’s something hilarious about the edecanes dancing to the circus music during the Psycho Circus entrance. Circus runs in and immediately jumps the Perros and all hell breaks loose. Monster Clown starts undoing his pants (oh dear) but luckily just to pull off his belt to start whipping the Perros with. A chair is introduced that gets slid right into Damian’s groin, I believe that’s the second time we’ve seen that spot on this show. Bestia is alone in the ring and takes an awesome beating from the Clowns and gets thrown over the top rope by Murder Clown. Why is the biggest guy in the group not the Monster Clown? That’s an important question. Clowns clear house and pose for the crowd’s approval. Outside, Murder Clown gorilla presses Damian and throws him into the crowd into a bunch of chairs. Clowns beat down Halloween now and Murder Clown avalanches him in the corner. Clowns hold Halloween’s legs and Psycho comes off the top with a headbutt. Tirantes steps in to try to stop the violence but Psycho clown lifts Bestia up for a powerbomb and Monster jumps over him with a legdrop sending Bestia through a table propped against the corner. Another table is introduced and the Clowns try to send Halloween through it but he foils their plans and spears Murder Clown through the table. Fighting continues through a commercial break and we return to the Perros beating down the Clowns now. Triple team legdrop and a standing moonsault by Bestia. Monster and Bestia face off and chop each other and Monster rocks Bestia with a huge chop that brings in Damian to fight with Psycho and the Clowns take control. Tope by Psycho to Damian on the outside and a quebradora by Monster to Bestia. Monster goes up top but gets pushed off by Bestia who hits a beautiful tope con giro. Murder has Halloween up but Tirantes Jr. saves him and gets booted down by Murder. Rock Bottom by Murder but Tirantes won’t count and Gran Apache runs down to fight him off and brings a new ref. Big splash by Murder Clown on Bestia for the three count and the fighting continues after the finish. Commercial break, and we return to Hijo del Perro Aguayo hitting the ring to beat down the Psycho Circus. Just a wild brawling match but it was pretty fun to watch.

AAA 1/15/11 Ecatepec Part 1 Review

AAA 1/15/11 - Ecatpec, MX Part 1 Review

Purchased from SlamBamJam.com

An intro video airs, highlighting the Guerra de Titanes PPV from December 2010 and the Cibernetico/Bizarros storylines.

1. Mini Psiscosis & Mini Histeria vs. Octagoncito & Mascarita Divina

Mascarita Divina gets a big reaction, but Octagoncito gets an even bigger one. Octagoncito and Histeria start, Psicosis interferes and knocks Octagoncito down. 2-on-1 on Divina and the rudos hit a double flapjack. Double team on Octagoncito now and the rudos grab him and give him an awesome lawn dart into the top rope and he bounces off the ropes with his forehead and hits the mat hard. Commercial break, and now the rudos are beating down Divina in the corner. They run into the corner but Divina ducks out, gets tossed in the air by the rudos and hits a big dropkick followed by three straight quebradoras from Octagoncito and the crowd is up and loud. The rudos take a break and then ham it up on the outside as the crowd hollers in disapproval of Mini Psicosis’ 80s hair metal hairstyle, or something along those lines. Histeria tries to shake Divina’s hand but then just slaps him instead. Divina hits the ropes but gets shoulder tackled down and Histeria dances like a leprechaun. Powerbomb attempt by Histeria into a nice armdrag by Divina for a two count. Superkick by Divina sends Histeria against the ropes and then a headscissors to Psicosis knocks him down as well. Psicosis goes for a dropkick but Divina ducks and he hits Histeria instead, knocking him to the floor. Springboard headscissors by Divina sends Psicosis out. Octagoncito in now, and he makes the rudos run into each other a few times, sends them out, and hits a huge torneo on Psicosis. Inside, a headscissors off the top by Divina and a hurricarana for a two count, followed by an armdrag sending Histeria out and a beautiful Asai moonsault. Octagoncito and Psicosis inside now, Octagoncito hits a trio of armdrags and then rolls Psicosis up for a three count. Good minis match and a great opener that the crowd really loved.

A Cibernetico promo airs where he talks about about breaking the leg of La Parka’s son, laughing as we see Parka and his family around the Christmas tree with Parka’s son having his leg in a cast. We see a shot of Parka standing over a bloodied and beaten Octagon in the street as Cibernetico drives away on his awesome motorcycle. Then they show clips of Charly Manson being introduced as the newest member of Los Bizarros.

Los Bizarros come to the ring with Cibernetico leading the pack carrying Parka’s son’s x-rays in a manila folder. First, Cibernetico announces that the prodigal son has returned and announces Charly Manson is back to the roaring approval of the audience. He says they are against AAA, La Milicia, and everyone else who is bad for the beautiful sport of lucha libre. He says his last and most important point is La Parka. He says sometimes children act badly and need to be disciplined, and Parka’s son was such, and he had to discipline him. He said that “oops” his hand had slipped and he had broken the kid’s leg. Parka’s music hits and he runs down to beat on Cibernetico but gets jumped by Bizarros until Jack Evans and Extreme Tiger run down with chairs and pipes to clean house. Parka gets on the mic and challenges for a trios match later on with Parka/Evans/Tiger vs. Los Bizarros. Cibernetico holds up the folder and laughs maniacally.

2. Fabi Apache & Pimpinela Escarlata vs. Sexy Star & Yuriko

Yuriko and Pimpinela exchange holds to begin with and Pimpinela gets a nice headlock takedown into an armbar and then hits a rollup but Yuriko is in the ropes. Sexy Star tags in and starts dancing but around on the apron but gets dropkicked down by Fabi while doing the splits. Star does a nice matrix style duck from a Fabi clothesline but gets headscissored out of the ring on the way back by Fabi who hits the ropes for a dive but Yuriko cuts her off with a dropkick. Yuriko tries to slam her but Fabi armdrags her out of the ring and celebrates inside. Yuriko and Pimpi have a slap off in the middle of the ring and then have a posedown. Pimpi sends Yuriko outside and then hits a running tope off the apron. Back in the ring and Star and Yuriko are beating down the tecnicas in the corners. Sexy Star whips Yuriko into Fabi for a big splash and then we have a commercial break. Back right where we left off and Star is choking Fabi against the ropes. Drop toe hold by Star who puts on a cavernaria and Yuriko hits the ropes and drops her with a bulldog out of the hold. Double team on Pimpi who hits a nice double springboard armdrag. Rope walk armdrag by Pimpi which looks like it took a ton of agility and Fabi hits a thesz press off the apron to Star. Inside, Pimpi comes off the top with a missile dropkick and pins Yuriko for a slow three count by Tirantes Jr. The two teams argue after the bell and Tirantes Jr. leaves with his arm around Sexy Star. Nothing memorable about this one.

Heavy Metal is in a dark pool hall playing with a beautiful woman and a midget. Playing pool, I mean. He calls out Electroshock for a best of 5 series where the loser would lose their hair, and says he is returning to AAA.

3. La Parka, Jack Evans, & Extreme Tiger vs. Los Bizarros (Cibernetico, Charly Manson, & Escoria)

Match starts with the tecnicos chasing the rudos around the ring. Bizarros take down the tecnicos and start a beatdown, with Cibernetico brawling with La Parka on the outside, and Charly beating down Jack and Escoria beating down Tiger in the corners. Cibernetico grabs a couple chairs from the crowd and lays one against Parka while slamming the other against it a couple times. Inside, Escoria and Charly double team Tiger and hit a clothesline in the corner. Rudos continue the beatdown and Cibernetico fights with Parka still and begins choking him out with the chair against his neck, then slides a chair between his legs and slams it into his nuts with another chair, that did not look comfortable in any way. Escoria stomps on Parka’s ankle twice and then Charly slams a chair against it. Parka climbs out of the ring hobbling on his ankle and the rudos continue the beatdown on Tiger with a triple team bodyslam and then a spinebuster by Charly and a top rope legdrop by Escoria. Charly and Escoria hold Parka now while Cibernetico kicks him in the gut and then each rudo clotheslines him in the corner. Charly runs at Parka but gets a quebradora, then one for Escoria too and Parka chases Cibernetico to the outside who retreats onto his knees as we get a commercial break. Back from break and the rudos are gameplanning on the outside as Tiger waits in the ring. Spinning neckbreaker by Escoria on Tiger. Escoria sends Tiger into the ropes and gets a Pele kick from Tiger. Escoria goes for a powerbomb but gets backdropped onto the apron, and Tiger pulls his head through the second and third rope and legdrops him off the top onto the back of Escoria’s head. Evans tags in, he gets chopped against the ropes by Charly for a bit, hits the ropes and does an awesome backflip duck out of a clothesline and then hits a cartwheel into a tope on Charly. Tiger runs in with Escoria and hits a huracarana followed by a corkscrew tope. Cibernetico and Parka jump in, they go back and forth for a bit and then Parka knocks Cibernetico down with three clotheslines in a row and then two quebradoras on Charly. Leglock by Charly. Rudos beat down Parka and Charly puts him in a leglock for the submission victory. Afterwards, Cibernetico pulls his old mask onto Parka’s head and then autographs the x-rays for him and gives them to him. This match served its' purpose, to further the Parka/Cibernetico feud and highlight Charly Manson as a new member of Los Bizarros. Jack and Extreme tiger contributed to some awesome sequences as well. Jack Evans has really improved as a member of the AAA roster and has really made a great impression as a luchador in Mexico.
