This Shall Return
Obviously there has been a long time between posts, which I blame on school and work schedules. I plan on resuming this shortly, with more condensed reviews that focus on the important details of the matches and angles instead of a full play-by-play recap. Hopefully this will lead to more readable reviews and more reviews being posted. Stay tuned for more.

AAA 3/13/2011 Morelia Review
AAA 3/13/2011 Morelia Review
A highlight video of the last show airs, recapping the Gran
Apache/Tirantes Jr. feud, Heavy Metal/Electroshock, Zorro/Charly Manson, and La
Sociedad vs. AAA/Los Bizarros.
Backstage, Gran Apache tapes up Faby Apache’s knee and he
asks her if she’s sure she wants to fight tonight, she says yes because she has
to defend her title. Gran Apache tells her he is going to take care of Hijo del
Tirantes.
1. AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship: Jennifer Blake & Alan Stone vs. Faby Apache & Pimpinela Escarlata ©
Faby and Pimpi are the reigning champs and have held the
titles since October 1st of 2010 when they defeated a different La
Sociedad team, Alex Koslov and Christina von Eerie. Alan starts with Pimpi and
whips him into the corner then goes in after but Pimpi moves out of the way and
chops him in the chest. They trade chops and work their way to the center of
the ring until Jennifer attacks Pimpi to break it up. Faby climbs in as the
fans chant her name and runs the ropes with Jennifer then kicks her in the
chest and runs them again into a headscissors on Jennifer sending her outside.
Faby goes for a dive but Tirantes trips her down as she runs and the rudos take
advantage inside the ring. Alan sends Faby off the ropes and hits her with a
quebradora con giro and stomps away. Blake and Stone each grab a leg and
wishbone her legs. They tie up Pimpi in the ropes and chop him in the chest
before going after Faby’s injured knee with a chair. The rudos swing away at
Faby’s injured knee time after time until she escapes from the ring. The rudos
set up a chair in the corner and try to whip Pimpi into it but she reveres the
whip, Stone stops short and grabs the chair only to get it dropkicked into his
face by Faby. Faby hobbles around with the chair and turns towards Blake with
it lifted over her head but Tirantes grabs it from her and Jennifer escapes.
Stone gets cut off by Pimpi who jumps up top and gives him a missile dropkick
to send him outside. Pimpi climbs to the corner and hits a plancha suicida on
Alan on the outside. Inside, Faby hits a german suplex with a bridge for a two
count. She lifts Blake again and hits her with an Angel’s Wings for a very slow
two count from the rudo Hijo del Tirantes. Blake crawls towards the ropes but
Faby hits her with a shining wizard and covers near the ropes, conveniently
enough, for Tirantes to lay Blake’s foot on the ropes after another slow two
count. Faby limps towards Tirantes in protest but Blake cuts her off with a
blow to the knee and locks on a single leg crab on Faby’s injured knee for the
submission victory.
Afterwards the rudos continue the beatdown, bringing out
Gran Apache who is kept out of the ring by Hijo del Tirantes with the chair
until they escape as the doctor checks on Faby’s knee. Not much to this match,
just a way to continue the Apaches/Sociedad feud, but it was well executed.
Halloween, Damian 666 and Perro Aguayo Jr. have a meeting
backstage. Halloween and Damian wonder who their partner will be, and ask about
Super Crazy. Perro talks about how they are the best group in AAA and have
nothing to worry about. Perro calls out the Psycho Clowns and says they will
destroy them. Then they all bark like Perros.
2. Bull Terrier match: Electroshock vs. Heavy Metal
Heavy enters with his mini Lokillo and valet, Electroshock
is in the ring wearing his lovely Giant Gonzales-esque bodysuit. As per the
usual in all Bull Terrier matches, they are connected by two dog collars on a
single chain. Electroshock begins by charging at Heavy in the corner and
punches away at him. They go from one side to the other and Electro wraps the
chain around his fist and punches Heavy then grinds the chain into his face.
The mini distracts Electro from the apron long enough for Heavy to clock
Electro from behind with the chain. Heavy wraps the chain around Electro’s neck
and chokes him with it until Tropicasas pulls him off. Heavy goes for a DDT
against the ropes but Electro reverses it into a spinebuster as the mini and
valet get the fans to cheer Heavy’s name. Electro grabs the middle of the chain
and whips Heavy back and forth across the ring, slamming him onto his back a
few times. Heavy drops outside, pulling Electro down with the chain, but then
tries to roll inside while Electroshock rolls out and they get caught with the
chain wrapped around the post. Electro takes advantage, slamming Heavy’s head
into the post repeatedly, until he walks away and Heavy recovers incredibly
quickly and pulls the chain back snapping Electroshock’s head into the post.
They each climb inside and Heavy takes him down with a chained punch and chokes
Electroshock out with the chain, pulling back with his leg against Electro’s
back. Heavy climbs up top with the chain still around Electroshock’s neck and
goes down to the outside, hanging Electroshock in a brutal choke against the
ropes. Heavy lets go eventually, apparently not wanting to kill Electroshock,
and the two of them have a tug of war over the chain with Heavy still on the
outside. Electro pulls Heavy up to the apron by his hair, then climbs onto the
apron himself. They each wrap a portion of the chain around their fist and take
turns punching each other on the apron, each time wavering a little bit more.
Finally they both wind up and do a dramatic double strike with both of them
landing outside. Electro tries to climb in but Heavy pulls him towards the ramp
and up to the stage. Heavy tries to do…something with Electroshock but Electro
stops him and suplexes him on the stage. Electro whips the chain like a belt
against Heavy’s back a few times then runs his knee into his face. Electroshock
climbs back in the ring with Heavy still on the outside and they do the tug of
war spot again. Commercial break.
Show returns to Electroshock standing pulling Heavy into the
ring. Electro pulls Heavy up for the martinete but Tropicasas pushes him over
and reminds him that it’s illegal as Electroshock protests. Heavy takes
advantage, pulling Electro down with the chain and locks him in basically a
toehold using the chain. He lets up and goes to touch the four corners but
Electro hits him with a spinning heel kick after he touches three. Electro
starts going for them but Heavy Metal cuts him off and headbutts him to the
ground. Whip to the corner by Electroshock and he follows him to the corner.
Heavy climbs onto the post but Electroshock catches him and hits an Alabama
slam, then tries to touch the posts but gets tripped up after 3. They start
trading shots on their knees with the fans chanting for Heavy Metal. They
stand, and Electroshock hits a lungblower then goes for the corners but gets 3
before Heavy pulls him down at the very last second as he’s about to touch the
fourth. Electroshock proves how evil he is by going after Lokillo but the valet
pulls him away to safety. Inverted crucifix slam off the top by Electroshock
who touches 3 corners but is then distracted by los Maníacos, who he knocks off
the apron without much trouble. He turns back to Heavy Metal and begins
punching him in the corner until he is cut off by Heavy’s valet and Lokillo. He
slaps her HARD and then knocks Lokillo down for good measure. Heavy fights back
and low blows Electroshock while Tropicasas attends to Heavy’s fallen comrades and
he touches all four corners with the aid of the foul to win the match. Los
Mamíacos climb back into the ring afterwards and yell at Heavy Metal and tell
him to accept their handshake, which he backs away from and they go back to
attacking Electroshock. Gladiador hits him with a lungblower off the second
rope as they take Heavy’s valet out on a stretcher (it was quite the slap).
This was just like every Heavy Metal vs. Electroshock match that came before
it, in case you couldn’t tell.
A recap of the Bizarros/Sociedad feud airs. After that, we
see Cibernético walking backstage. He opens a door, looks in, and we hear heavy
breathing. He walks in and closes the door. Okay.
3. Silver King, Último Gladiador, El Zorro vs. Billy el Malo, Taboo, Charly Manson
Los Bizarros come out second and sprint towards the ring to
begin the match with all six men brawling. Zorro stomps Charly in one corner as
Billy and Taboo get beaten down on the other side, and the Sociedad team clears
the ring. 3 on 1 on Charly now and Gladiador holds him as Zorro stomps him in
the gut, then they whop him into the ropes and King hits a dropkick to his
knees, followed by a standing moonsault by Gladiador with a little help from
Silver King. Charly rolls outside and they go to work on Taboo now, with los
Maníacos taking him down with a double drop tope hold and then rolling through
and each man dropkicking him down. Zorro then lifts him for a backdrop and
dumps him over the ropes as they turn to Billy. They work on Billy in the
corner and then whip him into the other side where Silver King comes off the
top with a missile dropkick. They continue beating on Billy then whip him into
the corner again. Running big boot by Gladiador, followed by one by Zorro who
then whips him out into Gladiador, who flips him over into another missile
dropkick by Silver King. The Sociedad team is in control but the Man in the
Iron Mask who has been stalking Zorro appears again, on the ramp this time, and
distracts them long enough for los Bizarros to take control from behind. They
clear the ring and focus on Zorro who is in the middle surrounded by him as
they go to commercial.
Back from commercial and Zorro and Charly face off with each
team on the apron. Zorro tags out to King avoiding Charly and he comes in
yelling at Charly, then sticks out his hand for a handshake only to have
Gladiador knock down Charly from behind. Zorro comes in now to work on the
fallen Charly and twists his boot across his face. Whip into the ropes and
double team clothesline attempt but Charly ducks out. Zorro attempts an
enziguri but Charly ducks and he takes out Silver. Gladiador charges and he and
Charly struggle to do something before Zorro charges with a big boot that
Charly ducks sending Zorro into Último. Zorro tries to escape like a chicken
but Charly grabs him by the hair and pulls him back in, only to get nailed by
Silver King with a dropkick to the back of the head. Silver holds him and
Gladiador goes for a dropkick but Charly ducks again and he nails Silver King,
then Charly hits a tope suicida onto Silver King. Inside Billy takes down
Gladiador with a headscissors and hits an even better tope of his own sending
Gladiador tumbling into the crowd. Zorro runs at Taboo in the corner but Taboo
ducks and Zorro crashes, then Taboo takes him down with a clothesline. Taboo up
top for a cannonball senton but Zorro moves. Kendo stick shot by Zorro to Taboo
then he turns to Charly who ducks away. Masked man appears again on the ramp
and this time Zorro has had enough and chases after him, leaving his teammates
with the disadvantage. Billy gets
Gladidor up and hits the Gori Bomb for a three count and the win. Jennifer and
Billy yell at each other afterwards but Zorro returns to even the odds with his
kendo stick before anything happens. Good match, I like what they did with
Charly and Zorro here to continue their feud and Billy el Malo looked
impressive. Zorro plays a great cowardly rudo when he needs to.
Mesías is backstage and stops La Parka as he is walking past
him. He tells La Parka he wants to make sure that they are working together and
he wants to go after whoever attacked him. Parka tells him that he’s already
chosen his side and he wants to go after Cibernético, and that he’s wondering
why Mesías hasn’t come out with the side he’s taking yet. Mesías tells him to
not worry about that, and all that matters is that they are working together.
4. Damián 666, el Hijo del Perro Aguayo, Halloween, Lizmark Jr. vs. Monster Clown, Psycho Clown, Murder Clown, Dr. Wagner Jr.
Lizmark Jr. is the mystery partner for the Perros. Match
starts with all eight men brawling of course. Perros have chairs and start
beating down the Clowns and Wagner with them for a while. Double hiptoss by
Halloween and Damián to Psycho Clown onto two unfolded chairs, wow. More
brawling and the ring clears until they have Murder Clown down on the outside
covered in chairs and Halloween does a head-first slide into a splash. Stereo
dropkicks by Lizmark and Damián sends the Clowns outside and then they each hit
a tope suicida. Perro and Wagner square off now, and Perro takes him down with
a back elbow then sets up a table in the corner. Perro sends Wagner into the
opposite corner and charges in but Wagner moves away then pulls him back in as
he tries to escape and backdrops him through the table. Murder Clown holds
Damián as Monster slaps him with a belt across the back. Wagner and Perro brawl
outside on one side as Lizmark and Psycho brawl on the other. Cut, and Damián
kneels in the center of the ring as all four técnicos dropkick him from each
side. Commercial break.
Return from commercial with Lizmark fighting back against
the Clowns. He whips Wagner into the corner but is reversed and Wagner gives
him a spinebuster. The other Clowns hold his legs apart while Psycho comes off
the top with a headbutt. They turn to Halloween now, beating him down against
the ropes then taking turns chopping him in the chest. Murder Clown comes off
the ropes and leapfrogs onto Halloween who is splayed against the ropes,
crushing him. They back Perro into the corner now with stomps then Wagner
snapmares him out. Monster Clown holds him in a wheelbarrow position and Murder
Clown gives him a legdrop and they all pose as the fans chant for Psycho. Poke
to the eyes by Damián has Psycho reeling and he sends him into the corner.
Damián charges but Psycho back drops him to the apron, hits him, and then nails
him with a lungblower through the ropes. Halloween in now, he ducks a heel kick
from Psycho and nails him with a spear, bringing in Monster, who sidesteps
another spear sending Halloween into the post, and follows it up with a
neckbreaker. He goes for the cover but Lizmark Jr. breaks it up. Lizmark gets
sent off the ropes and Monster waits for the back drop but Lizmark kicks him in
the chest, sends him off the ropes again and hits a spinning powerslam and
covers but the pin is broken up by Murder Clown. Murder is in now, he
impressively gorilla presses the 6’2” Lizmark and slams him hard. Murder hits
the ropes and goes for an elbow drop but Lizmark moves. Murder sent off the
ropes again but he kicks Lizmark in the chest and sends him out with a
clothesline over the ropes. Perro rushes at Murder but gets clotheslined down
hard and sells it like he ran full speed into a brick wall. He hits the ropes
again, slides through Murder’s legs, and dropkicks his knees to take him down,
then quickly hits him with another dropkick to the head and bounces off the
ropes for a third but Wagner jumps in and Perro stops dead in his tracks when
he sees him and stares like he’s seen a ghost. Awesome reaction. Sunset flip by
Wagner for a one count, Perro jumps up, kicks him in the back of the leg and
goes for la casita but Wagner rolls him up for another one count from the
slow-counting Tirantes Jr. Wagner protests by kicking Tirantes hard in the back
of the leg sending him down. Bodyslam by Wagner, he heads up top, diving
headbutt but Perro moves and rolls him up for a fast two count and Wagner
stares him down. Perro off the ropes with a dropkick to Wagner’s chin, then a
second that sends him through the ropes and landing straight on his back on the
outside in a pretty brutal manner. Perro runs for a dive but the Clowns cut him
off and they have a staredown. Psycho and Monster fight Halloween and Lizmark
now with chops and send them both out with stereo dropkicks then hit a tope
suicida on each of them. Murder Clown and Damián now, Clown backdrops him
outside into the group of luchadores then climbs up top for the big man plancha
suicida and everybody crashes. Damián and Wagner now, they run the ropes,
Damián slides through his legs and hits a clothesline and a legdrop for a two
count. Damián pulls him up top then nails him with La Ultramana, then climbs up
top for a moonsault that Wagner slides away from. Wagner is up, Michinoku
Driver on Damián and the cover for a three count. Enjoyable match, the Psycho
Clowns are always entertaining, Wagner is great, and Perro worked well as a
rudo foil to all of them. Perros attack with chairs after the bell and Perro
steals Wagner’s mask, followed by the rest of them stealing the Clowns’ masks. Commercial
break.
Return from break with the Perros still celebrating in the
ring with the masks of their opponents, who actually beat them, though you
wouldn’t know by the aftermath.
Konnan meets with Zorro backstage. Konnan says he needs
Zorro to tell him what’s going on. He tells him he doesn’t care about Charly
Manson but that he can’t be helping La Parka and Nicho while abandoning Los
Maníacos. He has to be more intelligent than this, Konnan says. Zorro says he
doesn’t understand what’s going on, Konnan tells him that Charly is just
playing mind games with him. He says the Masked Zorro is just the Zorro of the
past and that Masked Zorro no longer exists. He needs to be on Sociedad’s side
against AAA. Zorro tells him that everything will be explained.
5. El Mesías, La Parka, Joe Lider vs. Cibernético, Escoria, Nygma
La Parka is the last to enter and Cibernético jumps him on
the outside as the rest brawl in the ring. Cibernético drags Parka right through the ring
girls posing for the camera on the stage who run in terror as he slams Parka’s
head against the stage. Everyone in the ring now, and Cibernético has two
chairs in his hands which can mean nothing good. He lays one against Parka’s
ankle and slams it with the other while Escoria dropkicks a chair into Lider’s
face in the opposite corner. Escoria drags Parka to the center and lays Mesías
on top of him, and Cibernético spears Lider in the chest with a chair which did
not look comfortable. They pull Mesías off of Parka, maybe realizing how dumb
that looked, and then pile a bunch of chairs onto Parka for Cibernético to nail
with a chair of his own about eight times. Lider gets shot off the ropes into a
fireman’s carry slam by Cibernético and a top rope legdrop by Escoria. La Parka
rolls back into the ring now, and he gets sent into the corner for three
consecutive elbows from each Bizarro. Mesías jumps back in now and gets sent of
the ropes but slams Escoria down hard by his dreadlocks and hits Nygma with a
clothesline. He turns to Cibernético but is quickly taken down from behind by Escoria.
Cibernético lifts Parka now and holds him in the corner screaming in his face.
Escoria goes at him in the corner but Parka moves and he crashes and burns.
Nygma runs into a quebradora con giro and he holds it in place for a top rope
legdrop by Lider as Mesías gives Escoria a spinebuster. Mesías sends Escoria
off the ropes and nails him with a chair and he falls outside. Parka invites
Cibernético into the ring. Commercial break.
Nygma and Mesías cross the ropes and Mesías gets dropkicked
in the knees. Mesías off the ropes, slides through Nygma’s legs and hits a
backstabber. Escoria in and he stands off with Mesías then just dropkicks him.
Chops in the corner by Escoria, he sends Mesías to the other. Escoria charges
in but Mesías springboards over him only to get elbowed in the face by Escoria
then kicked in the chest. Escoria hits the ropes right into a Mesías powerslam
for a two count that could be three but Mesías stands up as Cibernético jumps
in to break it up. They square off and talk trash for a few moments, then each
man hits the ropes and goes for a shoulder block and neither man budges. Same
thing again and neither man moves, then Mesías goes for a third but Cibernético
waits and clotheslines him. Cibernético sends Mesías into the corner and charges
but Mesías lifts the boot into his face and hits a bulldog and Cibernético
bails. Lider in with Nygma who sends him into the corner but gets hit with a
boot. He should’ve learned his lesson from the last set of spots. Lider hits a
hammerlock style backstabber and I’ve officially seen enough of that move for
one show, although I will say at least he found a different way to do it. Leg
kick by Escoria sends Lider down. Escoria lifts him and pokes him in the eye
then chops him in the chest and mugs to the crowd. Little things like poking
the técnico in the eye while he’s lifting him off the mat make Escoria great.
He then talks trash to Mesías who slaps him in the face. Mesías is not as
amused by Escoria. Lider hits Escoria with another onef of his hammerlock
backstabbers that the announcer calls a sidebreaker. Whatever you call it, it
looks awful. La Parka tags in and faces off with Escoria who isn’t happy about
the crowd chanting Parka’s name and shakes his head furiously. He hits the
ropes and gets flapjacked by Parka and rolls out. Cibernético in now, he and
Parka trade chops until he clotheslines Parka down. Parka retaliates with one
of his own sending Cibernético down and Nygma jumps in to distract him so
Cibernético nails Parka with a chair to the face out of nowhere. Mesías jumps
in and yells at Cibernético then nails him with a dropkick to send him outside
and a springboard plancha. Escoria runs in and dropkicks Lider and sends him
into the corner but Lider reverses it and then picks up the chair and throws it
at his head. They go to the apron and Lider picks up Escoria and hits a death
valley driver to the floor in a crazy looking spot. Nygma with a missile
dropkick to Parka for a two count. He sends Parka to the corner and rushes in
but Parka boots him down. Parka lifts up Nygma, hits him with the rock bottom,
and covers him for the three count. Good main event match, probably the best
match on the show although there was not a ton of competition. The Mesías/ Cibernético
spots were interesting and it continued the La Parka/Cibernético feud well by
not giving away too much of them but still teasing it as the big feud, with
Cibernético basically taking his cheap shots and never facing off with Parka on
a level playing field.
After the match los Bizarros jump the ring and go after La
Parka but Zorro shows up for the save only to have the rest of the Sociedad,
including Konnan, pull him back from making the save as the show goes off the
air with highlights.
Overview: Although the fourth and fifth matches were
definitely entertaining this was a pretty thin show, but that is easy to
understand given that the next one is Rey de Reyes.

CMLL 3/2/2012 "Homenaje a Dos Leyendas" Review
CMLL 3/2/2012 “Homenaje a Dos Leyendas" Review
Diamante Azul |
1. Marcela vs. Ayumi [Lightning match]
They exchange holds early
and Marcela takes Ayumi down by the legs and puts her in a standing cangrejo
and then pulls her down into a crossface variation that Ayumi reverses into a
cradle for a two count. Up again, armdrag by Marcela, Ayumi pops up and gets an
STO but then kips up and armdrags Marcela. Marcela pops up and rolls through on
Ayumi and covers for two then locks on a stretch muffler but Ayumi gets the
ropes. Stomps by Marcela, who then lifts Ayumi by the hair and sends her into
the corner and charges after only to get taken down by a flying tijeras from
Ayumi. Unsuccessful body block attempt by Marcela and Ayumi pounds her face
into the mat then backs her into the corner and twists Marcela’s hair in her
hand before using it to toss her across the ring. Classic schoolyard bully girl
move right there. Marcela fires back and pulls Ayumi into a sweet double
underhook quebradora. Marcela backs Ayumi into the corner and gets her revenge
for the hair pulling by pulling on Ayumi’s hair and tossing her across the ring
by it. Ayumi backs into the opposite corner and Marcela charges but gets nailed
with a drop toe hold into the second turnbuckle, and Ayumi capitalizes and runs
in with double knees to the face. Ayumi climbs up top and Marcela throws a
right hand at her that she uses to give an armbar across the ring ropes that
the ref breaks up. Ayumi goes up top and comes off with a big dropkick for a
two count. She pulls Marcela up now but Marcela fights back and they exchange
forearms in the middle of the ring, with Ayumi winning the exchange, knocking
Marcela down. Ayumi runs to the ropes but Marcela cuts her off as soon as she
turns around with a knee to the gut, then crosses to the other side and does
the same thing, then hits a springboard double knee drop on Ayumi and covers
for two. She takes her time to lift Ayumi and gets hit with a lungblower, then
gets dropkicked out of the ring by Ayumi. Ayumi goes up top and hits a
beautiful plancha suicida with big air. Back in the ring and a head-arm suplex
by Ayumi followed by a nonchalant pinfall attempt with her just laid across
Marcela gets a two count. Marcela is lifted again and Ayumi goes for a victory
roll but she immediately reverses it into a german suplex for a two count. Now
she lifts Ayumi with a pumphandle and drops her stomach first against her knee
for a two count, ouch. Marcela goes up top but Ayumi comes after her, Marcela
fights back and gives her a Michinoku driver off the second rope for the three
count. Good match, these are two of the better luchadoras in CMLL and they had
a fun match with a lot of cool moves to start the show with some excitement.
2. Averno, Mr. Aguila, Olímpico vs. Valiente, Brazo de Plata, Angel de Oro
Valiente and Olímpico
start, exchange holds and Olímpico takes him down with a quick armdrag, then
lock up again and Valiente rolls through and snapmares him down. Armdrag by
Olímpico and they face off again and Valiente hits a leg takedown then another
snapmare. Stand again, leg takedown by Olímpico followed by a roll through and
a leg takedown by Valiente. Great exchange to start. Hammerlock by Olímpico,
Valiente lifts up and snapmares him again and they roll out. Oro and Aguila in
now, they each hit the ropes twice and then handspring off and face off again,
Oro ducks a clothesline but then gets hit with a back elbow. Aguila lifts him
and chops him hard in the chest then sends him off the ropes but Oro flips over
and kicks him in the face then comes back in with a moonsault for two. Oro
slides through Aguila’s legs when he stands a hits a great spinning tijeras
that sends Aguila to the floor and then fakes a dive and poses as the fans
cheer in approval. Averno and Super Porky in now and Averno basks in the
crowd’s reaction to him like only he can and then chops Porky hard in the
chest. Porky sends him off and Averno comes back with a shoulder block then
goes off again and gets armdragged by Porky. Averno hits the ropes and gets
armdragged again. He pops up and tries to backdrop Porky unsuccessfully, as if
that would ever work on this planet, and Olímpico comes in to help but they get
taken down with the headscissors/armdrag combo. Double chop from the two sends
Porky down and Averno celebrates. They send Porky off the ropes and try to drop
down but he just squashes them with a splash. Aguila boots Porky and poses only
to get hit with a springboard armdrag by Oro, who then ducks a standing senton
by Olímpico who is immediately hit with a quebradora by Valiente as the action
moves quickly. Averno runs at Valiente in the corner but gets caught and placed
on top by Valiente then nailed with a chop. Valiente springs Oro up to the top
with Averno and then runs at Aguila who takes him down and hits a running
shooting star while Averno nails a second rope Devil’s Wings for the three
count on both men.
Second fall starts as both
teams continue fighting and the rudos go three on one on Valiente in the corner
then send him off the ropes and drop him out to the floor. They send Oro off
the ropes now and Olímpico gives him the spinebuster then hits the running
dropkick as his partners hold Oro on the apron and they crash to the floor.
They send Porky off the ropes now and send him outside with the double boots
and then fake a double tope spot and pose. The técnicos begin to fight back and
Valiente ducks Olímpico and Averno and sends them into the corner and they get
knocked down for a big splash in the corner from Porky. They fall to the
outside and Valiente hits the incredible Valiente Special on Averno. Aguila
fights back inside the ring and hits a tornillo suicida on Valiente, then Oro
follows suit and hits a moonsault plancha suicida off the second turnbuckle to
Aguila. Olímpico unwisely goes for a sunset flip inside on Porky but gets sat
on for a two count. They lift Porky up for a double suplex and slam him down
then Olímpico hits a springboard frog splash. All of them, including Mije, make
the cover for the three and win the match. This match could have definitely
gone on longer but it wasn’t bad by any means.
3. National Parejas Increíbles Tournament final: Rush and Terrible vs. Atlantis and Mr. Niebla
Niebla is dressed up like
The Thing from Fantastic 4 complete with body paint. Terrible and Atlantis start
and Terrible takes him down with a back elbow and Rush beats him down with
forearms and a knee to the face. The two of them stand with their foot on
Atlantis’ face as the ref tries his best to stop them. They then turn on the
terrifying looking Mr. Niebla and beat him down in the corner then send him
into the ropes. He ducks a clothesline from Rush only to get nailed with a
dropkick by Terrible and falls outside. We see a distressed Zacarias on the
outside, complete with Thing body makeup of his own, which is amazing in so
many ways. They send Atlantis into the ropes now and Terrible drops down for
Rush to nail him with a clothesline and then they hold him down and pull at his
mask then back him into the corner and Rush crushes him with knees, then sends
him to the other side and hits him with a huge clothesline. He whips Atlantis
back to Terrible who spinebusters him and flips him up to Rush who hits the
fireman’s carry driver for a three count. Niebla gets nailed with a suplex by
Rush who then hits a standing double stomp, and Terrible comes off the top with
a splash for the three count.
Second fall starts with
Rush beating down Niebla on the ramp and Terrible in the ring with Atlantis.
Rush backs Niebla against the new Arena Mexico barriers and chops him while
Terrible has Atlantis’ head between the ropes and is pulling at his mask. The
evil Rush throws Zacarias in the ring, who tries valiantly to fight back but
gets pounded on the head by Rush and kicked right in the face as the fans lose
it and Rush poses like a tremendous rudo. They continue beating down Atlantis
now and punch him repeatedly against the ropes. They send him off the ropes,
hit a double spinebuster, and each hit a standing cannonball senton. Niebla is
in again but gets backed into the corner and spits in both of their faces as
they beat him down and send him out to the fans’ disapproval. Atlantis gets
nailed simultaneously with a kick to the chest and back from Terrible and Rush
and they then back him into the corner again. Rush whips Terrible into the
corner at Atlantis who reverses it into a quebradora con giro but is
immediately dropkicked by Rush. A charging Niebla nails Rush with a clothesline
and charges up, he’s sent into the corner by Terrible who charges at him but he
moves out of the way sending Terrible outside and goes after him with moonsault
plancha suicida. Atlantis lifts Rush with la Atlantida and he submits as the
fans roar and they take the second fall.
Rush and Terrible regain
their composure on the outside by shouting at fans as the third fall begins,
and it degenerates into them shouting at teach other and pushing and shoving
then going nose to nose. Rush climbs in the ring defiantly and charges at
Niebla and they clothesline each other and no-sell. They take turns posing on
the corner with Rush receiving the lion’s share of boos and Niebla getting the
cheers. Niebla backs him into the corner and tees off with chops then Rush
flips him and chops away. They yell YEAH when Niebla chops Rush and BOO when
Rush chops Niebla and they go back and forth a few times and Niebla spits in
his face then sends him outside with a big clothesline. Niebla and Terrible
face off now and Terrible slams him with chops but Niebla no sells and poses
defiantly. Terrible sends him to the ropes and drops for the back body drop but
Niebla slaps him in the back of the head and gives him a kiss and Terrible is
so offended that he turns to leave. Rush stops him and they argue again as the
fans go wild and they each push each other a few times until Terrible decides
to go back to the ring. Terrible goes for a handshake but Atlantis waves it off
and they have a chop exchange. Atlantis hits the ropes, ducks a clothesline and
hits a running plancha for a two count that Terrible breaks up. Rush and Terrible
back Atlantis into the corner and chop him hard, then Rush goes to whip him to
the other side but Atlantis reverses it. Atlantis charges and Rush dumps him
out but Atlantis climbs up top and hits a plancha diva on Terrible. Rush tries
to cannonball senton Atlantis, but he moves and Rush lands on his partner.
Atlantis hits a quebradora con giro on Rush then Terrible, then pulls Terrible
up by his hair and tosses him across the ring with it. Terrible slides out in
protest and stays there as Rush comes in to face Niebla. Running dropkick by
Rush sends Niebla down, and now he and Terrible send Niebla into the corner
with chops. Fireman’s carry slam by Terrible and Rush comes off the second rope
with a double stomp. Atlantis runs in, takes down Terrible with a dropkick,
bodyslams Rush, but is then overwhelmed by the two. They send him into the
ropes and Rush takes him down with a back elbow. Wheelbarrow lift by Terrible,
Rush goes for a lungblower but they botch it and the crowd gets all over them.
Terrible holds Atlantis across his knees and Rush double stomps him and then
covers him for the weirdest three count of all time by Tirantes that even the
announcers point out. Niebla ducks a double clothesline and then takes them
down with a both arm clothesline then dances around and spits in the air and
catches it. Rush and Terrible beat him down again and Rush holds him from
behind as Terrible hits both ropes for a running dropkick but Niebla slides
away and he nails Rush who flies out of the ring. Terrible takes Niebla down
with a clothesline and hits the ropes but gets tripped up by Rush who has
finally had enough of his parejas increíbles partner, which is a shame because
they make a great team, and Niebla cradles Terrible for a three count.
Rush runs back in the ring
and takes down Niebla then hits him with a back suplex. He hits the ropes but
gets tripped up by Terrible. He should have seen that one coming, really. Rush
gets distracted long enough by him for Niebla to slam him with a spinebuster
and then locks him in la Nieblina and Rush submits to give the team of Atlantis
and Mr. Niebla the tournament win. Afterwards the winners celebrate and dance
with Zacarias and the edecanes. Rush gets on the microphone and tells Terrible
that he will always be above him, and Terrible teases an apuestas match between
the two. Pretty good match, even great at times, with Terrible and Rush being
absolutely hateful rudos in every sense. Rush really excelled as a rudo, and I
think he proved here that he could do pretty big things as one, especially in
high profile matches like this. The crowd really got on him from the start and
treated him like a star. Terrible was certainly awesome here too and has really
stepped it up in my opinion since getting the Heavyweight title.
4. Diamante Azul, La Máscara, Marco Corleone vs. Rey Bucanero, Último Guerrero, Volador Jr.
This
is Diamante Azul’s first match in front of the Arena Mexico crowd since
changing to that gimmick from the Metro gimmick, which the announcers are
openly acknowledging. The Diamante Azul gimmick is basically a rip-off of Blue
Demon, and of course the fans realize that and do not care much for it. He
starts out with Guerrero who takes him down out of a waistlock and applies a
heel hook, then rolls it into an ankle lock which Azul rolls out of with a back
somersault. They each trade a takedown and then stare off in the center of the
ring and go for a test of strength. Guerrero goes behind with a wristlock and
wrings his arm but Metro climbs out of it and reverses it into an armbar
takedown. Metro gets rolled up by Guerrero for a pin but reverses it back into
the armbar and stands up with it locked in, only to have Guerrero reverse it
into an armdrag. Azul then applies a
series of wristlock transitions on Guerrero and armdrags him, sending him to
the outside. Azul follows him outside as the fans seem to get behind him.
Volador and Máscara climb in now with the fans going crazy when Volador jumps
in first. Volador bows on one knee and extends his hand for a handshake,
Máscara accepts, and Volador raises their hands together triumphantly. Volador
immediately chops him hard across the chest like a true rudo, and they begin
brawling. Volador jumps outside followed by Máscara as they continue trading
punches, and immediately then jumps back in and cuts Máscara off on the apron
before he can. Volador runs at Máscara now but Máscara hits an enziguri from
the apron and comes off the top rope with a diving headscissors that sends
Volador to the outside. Máscara goes for a dive, but Volador runs away, so he
slides through and lands on his feet. Volador attempts to hit Máscara with a
clothesline but it is ducked and Máscara gives him a quebradora con giro. Bucanero
in the ring with Marco now who poses on the turnbuckle as the girls cheer only
to get knocked to the mat by Rey. Rey comes off the ropes once with a
clothesline that doesn’t move Marco and immediately goes for another one. This
time Marco waits two seconds and then flies back comically and sarcastically then
points and laughs at the weakness of Bucanero as the fans cheer. They cross the
ropes and Rey goes for a running crossbody but Marco catches him, drops him to
his feet, and punches him with a big left hand that makes Rey fall like a tree
in the forest. Marco climbs to the ramp and sets up for Air Italia but Guerrero
cuts him off with a clothesline when he turns around. Volador and Bucanero
sends Azul over the top with a double clothesline and Volador unlaces his mask
and starts tearing at it on the ramp. The rudos hold Corleone and Diamante
together tied up in the ropes while Bucanero runs down the ramp and hits a
leapfrog legdrop onto the two of them. Máscara makes a comeback on the inside
and sends two of the rudos down with dropkicks, while Diamante Azul runs and
dives off the ramp with a great tope con giro onto Volador. Inside, Bucanero
runs at Máscara in the corner, who ducks and superkicks Guerrero and then takes
down Bucanero and locks him in La Campana while Corleone comes flying out of
nowhere with Air Italia for a great finish to the first fall.
Segunda
caida begins with Bucanero and Máscara crossing the ropes quickly and Bucanero
taking him down with a spear. Bucanero pops up and celebrates a little too long
as Máscara recovers and runs at him and nails a quebradora con giro, then hits
two more of them rapid fire and Bucanero bails out holding his back. Guerrero
and Diamante in now and they have a long staredown as the fans cheer loudly.
Finally, Diamante drops down as Guerrero runs past him and pops back up only to
get nailed with a clothesline by Último. They cross the ropes again and Guerrero goes
for a back suplex that Azul flips out of and hits a headscissors that sends
Guerrero to the floor. Bucanero comes in
running at Azul but gets nailed with a sweet high angle armdrag and falls
outside as well. Volador runs in at Azul now and he crashes into the corner
when Azul ducks. Azul gives him a monstrous monkey flip out of the corner to
the complete opposite side of the ring then runs to the other side and does an
even bigger one. Seriously the biggest monkey flip I’ve ever seen, Volador just
flew across the ring. Volador stands into a fake right hand from Metro and an
immediate European uppercut with the left hand. Volador tumbles out of the ring
and Azul fakes a dive into a pose and the crowd responds with a mix of cheers
and boos. Bucanero and Corleone in now,
they go for a test of strength but Bucanero just punches him in the gut. They
trade punches now with Bucanero ducking a right from Marco and hitting him a
few times, then going to duck the right again but Marco hesitates and then
clobbers him with a right in a pretty funny spot. Bucanero attempts to irish
whip Marco but he reverses it into a Russian legsweep. Guerrero runs in and
cuts off Marco, knocking him into the corner and chopping away. Guerrero sends
Marco into the opposite corner and rushes at him but Marco backdrops him to the
apron and nails him with the left hand to knock him to the floor, then pulls
him back to the apron by his mask and beal tosses him back into the ring. Los
Guerreros cut him off as he poses for the female fans and whip him into the
ropes. They shoulderblock him down to the outside and then Bucanero hits a
Guerrero-assisted tope suicida on Marco. Inside, Guerrero sends Máscara into the
corner and runs at him but Máscara backdrops him out, hits the ropes and hits a
bullet tope suicida on Guerrero. Azul in with Volador now, who flies across the
ring and handsprings off the ropes, then gives a spinning headscissors attempt
to Azul who tosses him off and Volador lands on his feet. Volador springboards
backwards into Azul who catches him for the german suplex and goes for it but
Volador flips out, nearly landing on his head in a pretty scary moment. Volador
pops right back up thankfully, though, and rips Diamante Azul’s mask off his
head then hits him with a backcracker as he tries to hide his face. Volador
goes for the cover but the referees DQ him for tearing off Azul’s mask and the
técnicos take the second straight fall. Everyone looked good in this match with
Volador Jr. being especially great as usual. Diamante Azul made a good effort
here although it is clearly tough for him to get over with the crowd using this
gimmick. He is a good enough worker that he may be able to transcend the stigma
of having this sort of gimmick, although he has the potential to be a good
enough worker it is frustrating that he is saddled with it. Time will tell if
it works out.
5. Cabellera contra cabellera: Blue Panther vs. Negro Casas
Casas
doesn’t even get a chance to remove his denim vest before Panther jumps him and
begins laying in punches. Casas knocks him away with a headbutt but Panther
immediately wristlocks him and clotheslines him down followed by a series of
kicks to the spine. Casas is up now and responds with a big slap across the
face and repeated stiff kicks to the chest. These two show how to start off a
true grudge match, just beating the crap out of each other. They trade more
punches and finally Casas falls to the mat and Panther applies a chinlock.
Casas struggles out of the chinlock and sends Panther into the corner and
stomps away repeatedly and the camera zooms in showing repeated stiff kicks
right to Panther’s face. Casas chops him a few more times then rushes in but
Panther fires back with a clothesline and covers for two. Panther drags Casas
to the corner and slams him face first against the turnbuckle and goes for a
big elbow but Casas moves and pounds away with chops and punches, then boots
Panther in the face hard again. Negro
backs up to the other corner and hits a huge diving dropkick against Panther’s
face in the corner. Casas nonchalantly lifts Panther up but Panther applies a
fujiwara armbar out of nowhere and Negro submits for the first fall.
Negro
checks with the ringside doctor and complains about his arm as the second fall
begins, then climbs in and is stomped by Panther who immediately goes after the
same arm and tugs at it then slams it against the ropes. Panther kicks away at
his arm as Negro holds it in pain and Panther grabs it and slams it across his
own shoulder. Negro bails out and Panther follows him outside, continuing the
beating and then sends Negro shoulder first into the ring post. He pulls Negro
by the hair back into the ring and Negro manages to fight back with kicks to
Panther’s chest. He takes a moment to recover then attempts to whip Panther but
he reverses it into an armdrag on Casas. Panther goes for a cradle but Casas
reverses it and locks in a stretch muffler on Panther. He kicks Panther hard in
the chest as the fans begin to get behind the técnico and then kicks him down
hard in the face and covers for two. Negro continues to work on the knee, as he
lifts Panther by his leg and slams it against his own knee and then dropkicks
him right in the knee right after. Negro then immediately hits La Casita and
takes the second fall.
The
third fall starts with Negro and Panther on the outside and Negro has his leg
draped over a railing on the ramp and slams his bad knee against it then
applies a leg lock against the railing until the ref breaks it up and slams his
leg against it one more time for good measure. They work their way back to the
ring with Negro walking with his arm around the ref’s shoulder and then
climbing into the ring and laying his arms across the ropes laughing at Blue
Panther struggling to stand on his bad knee. Panther slowly hobbles to his feet
and Negro bounces around on both feet mocking him. Stuff like this is what
makes Negro Casas such an all-time great rudo. Negro waits in the corner as Panther
slowly walks towards him and dropkicks him in the knee for a two count. Negro
immediately goes to work on Panther’s knee and strikes it again and again as
Panther sells it perfectly as if he’s torn a ligament. Negro lifts Panther up
for another kneebreaker but Panther reverses it into a small package for two.
Panther stirs to his feet and Negro strikes but Panther reverses it into
another small package for two and Negro reverses that into a crossface. They
stir to their feet with Panther rolling out and Panther locks on an inverted
gory special and walks with it, apparently feeling much better with his knee
here, but Negro rolls it through for a victory roll. Panther reverses it into
his own pin for a two count and they both slowly stir to their feet as the fans
chant loudly for both. Sunset flip attempt by Negro and he takes him down now
with a armscissors/facelock style hold and has him in the center of the ring in
a dangerous hold. Panther slowly stands to break the hold and then crosses
Negro’s arms in a cruz nipona style lock with Negro on one knee. Negro starts
biting Panther’s arm to break the hold but no luck, and he finally stands and
twists out of it then kicks Panther in the gut. Octopus hold locked on by Negro
now who seems to have Panther in a bad spot. Negro lets up and delivers a huge
knee to the gut and locks the hold back on again. Panther powers out of it
again and goes for a hip toss that gets blocked by Negro, then tries again but
gets it blocked for a second time. Panther holds him in this position in some
sort of shoulder lock and the fans start to boo loudly for whatever reason,
maybe because the hold looks terrible.
Big slaps to Panther’s chest by Negro who finally blocks it and tries to
roll through into a double armbar that he eventually lets go of. They stand and
chop each other a few times and hit each other at the same time with a
clothesline but neither go down. Negro kicks him in the gut and pushes Panther
into the ropes, and then goes for a running knee lift but Panther ducks and
Negro bounces off to the mat. Panther lifts Negro up in the electric chair and
drops him face first on the mat. He locks in la tapatía after a long struggle
by Negro and the fans start to get loud again. Negro fights out and puts
Panther in the STF but it gets broken up and then hits La Casita for two.
The
two of them stand again and face off as the fans are getting pretty loud.
Panther backs Negro into the corner and chops him then lifts him to the top
rope. Negro blocks another chop and tries to do the hanging armbar but slips
and lands on his feet on the outside, managing to pull that off a lot more
smoothly than he really should have and has a huge grin on his face to show for
it. Commercial break, back to Negro climbing in the ring and he covers Panther
who is holding his arm for a two count. Negro locks on a cross armbreaker and
Panther struggles before finally lifting him up out of it and powerbombing him
into the corner. They stand onto the apron and negro kicks him a few times then
goes back inside and locks on a sleeper hold over the ropes, then lets go as
Panther collapses off the apron to the floor. Panther stirs to his feet outside
and Negro dropkicks him from inside the ring. Panther sweeps Negro’s legs as he
climbs out of the ring, then chops him as he is seated on the apron, and pulls
him off to the floor with a fujiwara armbar takedown and they hit the ground
hard. Panther climbs back in, runs off the ropes and hits a tope suicida on
Negro but he slams shoulder first hard right into the new barricades. They both
climb back into the ring at the same time and Negro climbs to his feet first.
He grabs Panther for a Casita for another two and pleads with the ref
afterwards. Panther and Negro stand at the same time now and Panther hits a
double leg takedown and goes for a nudo but Negro clocks him in the head to
break it up. Negro sets up for the lariat by stomping his feet and licking his
arm like a maniac, then swings but Panther ducks and locks him in a leglock but
slaps Negro in the face too many times and Negro locks him in a small package
and both of their shoulders are down as the ref counts three. Panther is up and
thinks he is victorious but the ref explains to him the circumstances. The
announcers explain that in the situation of a draw in a lucha de apuestas
match, both men lose and much have their heads shaved. Both men plead with the
crowd and the referee for the match to continue as the CMLL officials (Panico
and Commissioner Gustavo) come down to the ring and the announcer declares that
the match is a draw and both men lose their hair. The replays show that both
men had their shoulders down. Panther begins getting his hair cut and as it
happens Negro kicks him down and walks away and is held back by the refs. After
a show recap, we come back with both men being shaved. Panther gets on the
microphone and says that he doesn’t agree with it being a draw, but that this
is not the end of their feud, only the beginning. Negro laughs and tells him
that of course the battle has just begun but reminds him that Panther didn’t
win and they start to fight again but Panther knocks him down with a big right
hand and sends Negro out as the officials break them up. Great main event, as
these two really showcased a lot of their technical skills here and the match
told a really good story that made a lot of sense for their feud. A draw
continues their feud while also being a finish that the fans never saw coming
but really were able to appreciate as both men ended up losing their hairs. The
idea that Panther lost because he kept trying to slap Negro instead of applying
the leglock is something that they can really build off of. This was definitely
one of my favorite matches of the year so far in 2012.
Overview:
Watch this show. The opener match between the girls was crisp and had the pace
that an opener needed. The Parejas Increíbles final was awesome and Rush stood
out as a star here working with Terrible. The semi-main trios match delivered
everything you would it expect it to. Most of all, Blue Panther and Negro Casas
had a top caliber match that had great storytelling and awesome wrestling but
was different than everything else.

AAA 3/4/2011 Puebla Review
AAA 3/4/2011 PUEBLA REVIEW
The show opens with clips of all the ongoing storylines and such, including the status of Mesías, Rey de Reyes, La Parka vs. Bizarros, and Dr. Wagner Jr. against La Sociedad.
1. Fenix, Lolita, Mari Apache vs. Billy Boy, Jennifer Blake, Sexi Star
"Una americana y una italiana" |
2. Los Bizarros (Escoria, Nygma, Charly Manson) vs. Espiritu, Nicho, Joe Lider
Lider and Charly start, Charly hits an overhead belly to belly suplex and poses for too long, Lider comes up from behind and slams him down from the fireman's carry position. Espiritu and Escoria in now, Espiritu with an armdrag but Escoria recovers and hits an STO variation. Escoria sends Espiritu into the corner but he ducks to the apron, kicks Escoria in the head, and comes off the top with a diving armdrag then sends him outside with a headscissors and fakes a dive. Nicho and Charly now, Nicho knocks him down with a spinebuster and does a People's Elbow style leg drop for two. Escoria in now and takes down Nicho with a heel kick. Chairs are introduced into the match as the rudos lead a beatdown, Espiritu gets run throat first into a chair and Nicho gets one pulled out of his hands by the evil Hijo del Tirantes and gets nailed with a chair, then Lider gets taken down with chairshots as well and the rudos take control. Espiritu gets pulled off the apron and slams chin first against it by Charly and Escoria who then hold him up in a seated position on the apron and Nygma dropkicks him down HARD through the ropes for a pretty awesome double-team move. Inside again, Escoria holds Lider in the electric chair position and Charly leaps off Nygma's back and hits a backstabber that was just ugly. Nicho jumps in again and gets chopped hard by the rudos, beaten down and laid across Charly's knees for a legdrop off the top by Escoria. They use the chairs again across the backs of Nicho and Lider then set up Lider against the ropes but Espiritu jumps in to break it up. The brawl evens out now and Espiritu hits Escoria with a quebradora con giro followed by Lider and Nicho grabbing chairs and going after the rest of the rudos. Lider and Nicho send Escoria into the corner, then Nicho runs in awkwardly slow with a clothesline, then chops him a few times and sends him to the other side. Nicho puts Escoria on his shoulders and Lider comes off the top with a huge DDT to Escoria. Espiritu sends Nygma off the ropes and nails him with a powerbomb, then he gets sent off the ropes again and Nicho hits him with a clothesline, moving slowly and awkwardly again showing some sort of injury that he's fighting through here. Charly is back in with a chair and hits two of the técnicos but Espiritu dropkicks the chair into his face. Espiritu goes for a dropkick but Charly moves and Espiritu falls outside, then Charly hits an asai moonsault on him. Inside, Nygma and Nicho both go for dropkicks off the ropes at the same time and collide. Lider slams Escoria as we see Charly dumping a white powder (oh no) into his hands that he then takes a whiff of (dear lord) on the outside. Lider lifts Escoria to the top rope but Charly throws the powder in his eyes and Escoria hits a death valley driver off the second rope for a three count and Los Bizarros win the match. Decent match but really nothing special here. Afterwards, Nicho nails Nygma with a stunner and Escoria with a DDT at the same time and chases off Charly, but is then nailed with a kendo stick and gets a bunch of chairs laid across him and nailed with even more chairs until Zorro makes the save with his kendo stick and clears house. Zorro gets on the microphone and tells Charly that he might say he's Zorro's worst nightmare, but Zorro tells him at Rey de Reyes that he will be living a nightmare of his own.
Backstage, Lider and Nicho cut a promo on Los Bizarros saying they're going to team with Parka and destroy them at Rey de Reyes. Nicho loudly slams his golf club against a chair, just because he can!
3. No DQ: Electroshock vs. Heavy Metal
Electroshock arrives and waits for Heavy as his music plays but he emerges from the crowd and smashes a guitar over the back Electroshock's head. Is he a Honky Tonk Man fan or a Jeff Jarrett fan? Electroshock bleeds from his forehead as Heavy drags him around ringside beating him up and throws him into a big black table against the barrier. Heavy goes to slam Electroshock into the table propped against the barrier but Electroshock reverses it and sends him through it. Electroshock sends Heavy into a ring post and knocks him over the head with a chair, then decides to chase after Heavy's valet and mini. The mini distracts Electroshock long enough and Heavy sends him down with a right hook then hits a beautiful snap suplex and an elbow drop. Heavy lifts him up again and goes to throw him out but Electroshock reverses it and sends him out again. Another big black table is slid into the ring by Electroshock and he props it up in the corner then hits Heavy with a kick in the back of the leg that sends him reeling into the corner. Electroshock tries to whip heavy into the table but he slides to a stop in front of it and back drops a charging Electroshock through it. A normal looking table is introduced now by Heavy who is immediately knocked down and then whipped into the corner and clotheslined. They square off and Electroshock slaps him in the face but Heavy then just knees him below the belt, which takes Electroshock down for a moment but he fires back with a great spear and a flurry of punches. Electroshock unfolds a chair in the center of the ring and crotches Heavy on it then goes to dropkick him but Heavy dodges it. Heavy grabs the chair, sets it against Electroshock's face, and kicks it hard, but then stands around too long and gets nailed in the head with the chair by Electroshock. Electroshock stumbles toward him now as he struggles to recover and the two of them kneel on the mat trading shots. They knock each other down and stir to their feet slowly, with Heavy dragging Electroshock towards the table but Electroshock bodyslams him down. Electroshock lifts Heavy again and headbutts him then lays him across the table then heads up top. Electroshock goes for a leg drop but Heavy moves away and Electroshock goes through the table. Ultimo Gladiador and Silver King appear, looking for revenge on Electroshock. Gladiador climbs on the apron but Heavy doesn't want his help and knocks him off with a punch. Silver King tries to hand him an empty 40 oz bottle but Heavy won't take it. Electroshock grabs it from him and breaks it over Heavy's head and looks around for a second then covers him for the three count. Maniacos jump in the ring afterwards and beat down Electroshock.
Heavy Metal is backstage getting a nasty gash on his arm cleaned and he yells at his valet and mini for letting the Maniacos interfere in his match again. He seems wildly unconcerned with the enormous gash on his arm.
4. Rey de Reyes semifinal: Carlito Caribbean Cool vs. Jack Evans vs. Decnnis vs. Ozz
Everyone is in the ring already except Carlito who gets an entrance with Hijo del Tirantes. He immediately comes off as a bigger star here than the other three, though that is probably the intention after all. Decnnis charges at Jack who ducks and nails him with a spinning toe kick but gets thrown out of the ring by Carlito. Carlito ducks out of the way of Ozz, who flies out of the ring, and then goes to clothesline Jack, who backflips out of it and nails him with a front flip dropkick. Jack goes for a springboard moonsault on Decnnis who dropkicks him in the stomach in midair for a two count. Pumphandle powerslam by Decnnis for another two count. Carlito pulls Jack out and beats him up in the aisle as Decnnis and Ozz face off. Decnnis puts Ozz on the top rope but gets hit with a diving huracanrana by Ozz in his fancy black vest and then powerslammed by Ozz and covered for a two count that he breaks up with the most nonchalant shoulder lift ever, like someone waking up in the morning turning and slowly turning over. Ozz holds Decnnis for Jack to kick but Decnnis ducks and Jack nails Ozz with the spinning toe kick. Carlito and Decnnis team up on Jack and Ozz and dump Ozz to the outside then Decnnis nails Jack in the stomach with his helmet and hands it to Carlito who hits Jack with it as well. Double whip by Carlito and Decnnis sends Jack off the ropes but he does a backflip into a back elbow on the two of them. Ozz is back in and sends Decnnis off the ropes for a quebradora con giro and stomps him in the corner. Jack sits Carlito down in a chair on the floor and climbs to the top, Ozz flies outside with a tornillo onto Carlito and Jack hits a diving huracanrana onto Decnnis in the ring then nails him on the outside with a Sasuke special. Inside, lionsault attempt by Ozz is dodged by Carlito who then ducks a springboard plancha by Jack. Carlito stops Decnnis from punching him and tells him they're still working together. He goes in for the handshake but then pulls Decnnis in for a spinebuster and slams him. Big boot by Carlito to Jack and a superkick to Ozz but the three of them immediately jump Carlito in the corner. Ozz clotheslines him, Jack hits a handspring back elbow, and Decnnis pulls him up for a death valley driver and covers him but only gets a two count. Bossman slam by Ozz on Carlito band he covers but only a two count again. Jack hits a springboard spinning toe kick to Carlito and covers, but again only a two count. Carlito is dumped outside and Jack and Ozz go after Decnnis. Jack knocks Decnnis down with a spinning heel kick. Jack stands over him and screams VIVA MEXICO, the announcers laugh at him and Ozz grabs him and hits a backdrop. Big boot by Ozz sends Decnnis out and Carlito grabs Ozz from behind and nails him with a roll the dice and covers him for a three count and commercial break.
Carlito and Decnnis face off now, Decnnis rolls him up for a two count. Carlito charges and gets dumped to the outside. Jack jumps in the ring and pulls a backslide on Decnnis and flips over so he lays across Decnnis' legs and gets a three count for the second elimination. Clipped back to Carlito in the ring, Carlito slaps him and Jack kicks him hard in the leg and they trade back and forth, then Carlito sends Jack to the ropes. Jack flips over the ropes to the apron, blocks a punch, kicks Carlito in the head and hits a springboard knee to the face. Viva Mexico again with a twisting moonsault for a two count. Off the ropes again, backdrop attempt by Carlito, Jack flips out and kicks him in the gut then goes for a fisherman's suplex but gets blocked. Carlito holds Jack up for a delayed suplex then pulls him down and just crushes him with a roll the dice and covers for a two count, great near fall. Carlito pulls Jack up and drags him into the corner, whips him into the opposite and gets kneed in the face. Diving tornado DDT by Jack and he goes to the apron and attempts a springboard 450 but Carlito slides away. Carlito waits as Jack slowly stands with his back to him and goes for the backstabber but Jack reverses it into a casadora for a two count. Carlito throws a superkick that is ducked and a backslide by Jack gets another two count, Carlito rolls to his feet and superkicks Jack followed by a backstabber and a cover for the three count. A pretty good match, Carlito wasn't in the greatest form here but the section at the end with Jack was pretty great stuff.
Konnan arrives afterwards with Jennifer Blake and Sexi Star. He presents them as "una americana y una italiana", Sexi Star says "italiana?", and Konnan cusses at her and tells her to go with Carlito. He introduces Carlito as the newest member of the Légion Extranjera. Carlito asks if Sexi Star wears a mask because she's a man, which offends her obviously, and then tells Konnan that the only good thing about Mexico is Konnan's presence. He promises to bring pride and dignity to Mexico as the Rey de Reyes.
Backstage, Silver King is talking with Sociedad members when Konnan walks in carrying a barbed wire baseball bat wearing a Cardinals jersey, obviously sending a message to thecubsfan. Konnan recreates the speech from The Untouchables about baseball and teamwork and hits Billy Boy from behind with the bat and beats him down with it, just like in the movie. Konnnan proclaims that Billy is part of Los Bizarros and the other Sociedad members stand around frantically panicking in a ridiculous fashion.
5. Los Maniacos (Ultimo Gladiador & Silver King) and L.A. Park vs. Cuervo, Extreme Tiger, El Mesías
Park gets on the microphone and makes fun of Mesías and tells the fans that he won't be coming tonight because Park beat him down and he's in the hospital. He yells at the fans and his voice cracks a bit which they jump all over him for. Park tells the técnicos that he'll send them with a message for Mesías because he's going to send them to the hospital too, and they attack. Silver King pulls Tiger up and hits him with a quebradora out of a razor's edge position. Mesías' music hits and a split screen shows him walking backstage to the ring. Wait, I thought he was in the hospital! He seems to be alright though. Mesías hits the ring and clears house of everyone except Park, who begs on his knees but attacks when Mesías turns around. Mesías ducks and hits Park with a clothesline who slides out of the ring and Mesías goes out after him and continues beating him down. Mesías throws him through a row of chairs in the crowd then chases after and everyone is brawling as we hit commercial break. Back and Mesías has a chair on the outside, but I don't know what he's doing with it because it clips to the ring where we have more brawling. Silver charges at Cuervo who dumps him out and hits a dive on him that we don't see because of horrible clipping. Gladiador and Mesías trade chops that send Gladiador down but Park jumps in and knocks Mesías down from behind then crotch chops him with the enthusiasm of a 12 year old who just watched DX for the first time in 1998 and then joyfully dances around. Park holds Mesías for Ultimo who gets kicked and Mesías tries to do a backflip off his knee but messes up terribly so it's clipped again to Mesías randomly on the top rope punching Silver King down to the mat. Headscissors by Mesías to Park then some sort of armdrag that went terribly, awkwardly wrong on Gladiador. Mesías ducks a clothesline from King then powerslams him down and Park ducks out of the ring to get away from Mesías. Right when Park jumps out the match clips to Park and Mesías in the center of the ring. Would be nice to know how this happened, but whatever. Mesías chops Park and Park chops him back harder and they trade back and forth. Park knocks Mesías down and whips him into the corner, Mesias then leapfrogs him and hits a sunset flip that Park rolls out of. They criss-cross the ropes a couple times and Mesías crushes Park with a spear and covers him for a two count. Just noticing now, but Mesías' hair is 33% straight, 33% braids, and 33% shaved. Also, 100% awful looking. Park rolls away from Mesías and kicks him in the head, walks him over to the ropes, then stands on the apron and gives him a neckbreaker through the ropes against the apron, really cool spot. King holds a chair on the apron and Park dropkicks it into Mesías' face. Park stalls for a bit then goes for a tope suicida but waited too long as Mesías slams him in the face with a chair as he comes flying through the ropes. All four others brawl in the ring now and the técnicos whip Los Maniacos into each other and do a double rollup spot for a two count. Ultimo superkicks Tiger, Cuervo dropkicks King, and Ultimo ducks a Cuervo clothesline then hits an enziguri. Ring clears again, Ultimo lays Tiger across a chair but when he climbs to the apron Tiger pulls him off smacking his chin against it. Tiger lays Ultimo in the chair now and hits a tope con giro before the commercial break.
Silver King and Cuervo face off, King charges at Cuervo in the corner for a splash but Cuervo dodges it. King reverses a whip and kicks Cuervo in the gut then sends him into the corner and clotheslines and bodyslams him down. Second rope moonsault by Silver but Cuervo gets his knees up as Park and Mesías run into the ring. Park kicks him in the stomach and grabs a chair but Mesías ducks it and spears him while Cuervo DDTs Silver King and they both go for cover at the same time and get the three count. This match was pretty rough considering all the cuts but it's hard not to enjoy anything L.A. Park is involved in, for me at least.
Carlito hits the ring after the match is over and beats down Mesías then Extreme Tiger as Park beats down Mesías. Park turns to Carlito and pushes him, Carlito pushes back, and they star to brawl, then Tiger jumps in and keeps fighting. Jack Evans, Espiritu, and Ozz all run in to break up the fight for some reason as Konnan and more people hit the ring to break it up. Everyone is held back except Extreme Tiger. Each guy breaks free once or twice and the brawl continues as the show goes off the air. A recap video of the show highlights airs, and a lead-in to Rey de Reyes.

AAA 2/28/2011 Guanajuato Review
AAA 2/28/2011 Guanajuato Review
1. Mini Psicosis, Mini Histeria, Mini Chessman vs. Octagoncito, Mascarita Divina, Mini Charly Manson
Charly and Chessman start, and Charly has him down for a pin early but Histeria breaks it up and screams at the crowd like a crazy person. Histeria and Charly now, the crowd chants for Charly and he runs at histeria in the corner but gets flipped onto the apron, then climbs up top and comes off at Mini Chessman with a missile dropkick. Really nice headscissors by Charly sends Histeria to the floor, Psicosis and Divina now in. Divina flies around the ring and hits a springboard plancha for two. He kicks Mini Psicosis right in the face with a seated dropkick then catches Chessman as he runs in with a great spinning armdrag. Octagoncito in now and he takes out Mini Chessman with a headscissors then armdrags Histeria who pops back up and knocks him down with a back elbow. More back and forth and Octagoncito hits a rollup but the rudos run in to break it up and beat him down and the rest of the técnicos. Triple team on Mini Charly and the rudos don't seem to know what to do with him for a second as Histeria just stands there on the top rope, but Psicosis drapes him across his knee and Histeria hits him with a leg drop. Divina in now who breaks up the rudos and the rest of the técnicos jump in to take over. Octagoncito sends Mini Histeria to the outside with a headscissors and then hits a springboard tornillo suicida. On the other side, Charly hits a plancha suicida on Psicosis, then Divina hits an asai moonsault on Mini Chessman. Inside the ring, Octagoncito flies in on Histeria with a diving armdrag, then the flying tijeras, then another armdrag into a cradle pin for the three count. Good stuff from the opening match minis here. I'm really impressed with Mini Charly Manson from what I've seen, I sure hope he has a better career path than his namesake.
The elder Roldan is in his office with La Parka and Dr. Wagner Jr. and they talk about the situation in AAA with the aggression from La Sociedad. Joaquin talks with Parka about his problems with Cibernético and Parka says he may not be able to help them out with defending AAA with all that has happened with him and Cibernético.
2. Electroshock vs. Heavy Metal
The little person and model that hang out with Heavy Metal come down the ramp but Heavy Metal comes out of the crowd to attack Electroshock, catching him off guard and beating him down until he falls out of the ring. Heavy Metal sprints and hits a tope suicida with a hard impact on the floor to both of them and Heavy's incredibly strange crew scatters. Heavy takes him up the stairs and suplexes him down hard onto the stage. They brawl through the crowd with Heavy in control, throwing chairshots at him and punches until Electroshock manages to whip him hard into the wall as Ultimo Gladiador and Silver King show up on the ramp with their belts. Electroshock takes control and drags him further throughout the crowd, hits him with a chairshot of his own and then tosses him over the barrier wall further into the crowd and jumps it after him. Electroshock grabs a cooler and tosses it back over the wall and takes Heavy Metal back over the wall with it, then gives him a stiff looking powerbomb onto the cooler that probably didn't feel too good for Heavy Metal. The tag champs continue to stand in the entrance way with chairs watching the match as Heavy and Electro fight up to the second tier of seating in the arena. Electro tries to slam him off the wall but is unsuccessful and Heavy fouls him which sends Electroshock off the wall and Heavy comes off after him with an axe handle smash. They finally work their way back towards the ring and brawl in the aisleway right by Silver King and Gladiador, Heavy takes a chair from them and hits Electroshock but is fouled by him right afterwards. The little person and valet girl jump Electroshock until they're pulled off by security, then Silver and Gladiador jump Electroshock and beat him down with a backstabber from Ultimo on the floor, then Silver King sets a chair up and hits Electro with a downward spiral on it. Electroshock slowly crawls into the ring and Heavy reluctantly crawls in after him, seeming a bit displeased by the interference and having to be persuaded by his valet. Heavy hits La Magistral for a three count and the tag champs jump in and continue their beatdown as Heavy Metal looks on.
Backstage Konnan is on his phone and tells someone that Carlito Carribbean Cool is coming in for Rey de Reyes. L.A. Park walks in and Konnan hangs up and says he was talking to Dorian. Park tells him that people backstage are talking poorly about them, Konnan says it doesn't matter, but Park says he put Mesías in the hospital for them and now he's upset because he's looked at the card for Rey de Reyes and he isn't in a match for the Megacampeonato. Park tells him he is in a semifinal for the RdR tonight and is going to win, and that Konnan is going to stop playing around with him, saying that Cibernético might be right about Konna. Konnan says Cibernético is a liar and he's just trying to cause friction between Park and Konnan, and that Park will be next in line for a title shot after Charly Manson, and if he doesn't believe him he can call Dorian right now. Park says it doesn't matter yells at Konnan that he doesn't believe him and leaves.
A Carlito video package is shown, even including a grainy video shot of him from WWE because that inherently makes him important or something, even if he got fired.
Back in Joaquin's office, Dr. Wagner Jr. tells La Parka he cannot leave because they need to stop what is happening in AAA like the attack on Mesías. Parka asks him what he would do if somebody did the same to his son what Cibernético did to his, and Wagner concedes. Parka tells them that what happened is between him and Cibernético and that maybe when it is all over he can help AAA, then leaves the office. Wagner tells Roldan that they are not alone and he has a plan.
3. Ozz and Cuervo vs. Damián 666 and El Zorro
Both teams start off brawling and the Sociedad members Damián and Zorro take control early taking down Ozz and Cuervo with the kendo stick while Jennifer Blake and Bestia assist on the outside. As they continue to beat down on the técnicos, a man dressed in all black wearing the "iron mask" from Zorro's past appears in the crowd and Zorro looks at him confused. Zorro leaves the ring to go after him but Damián goes out and holds him back from the man who disappears out of the crowd. Back inside the ring the rudos continue the beatdown and Zorro hits a bronco buster on Ozz proving that somehow people are still doing that move. They go after Cuervo now and try to splash him in the corner but he moves out of the way and kicks Zorro in the gut then sends him off the ropes and hits a quebradora. Ozz pulls Blake out of the ring by the hair but Tirantes Jr. prevents him from doing anything, like the guy at the party who sticks up for the annoying girl but we all know he won't get anything good out of it. Ozz pulls Bestia in and they pull him into the corner and wishbone his legs against the ring post. Damián in now with Ozz who sends him down with a shoulder tackle and an armdrag then a tijeras but Damián answers right back with a dropkick to the face. Damián sends Ozz into the corner but he climbs up to the top and hits a great tornillo onto Damián and covers him but Zorro breaks it up with a senton that Ozz avoids, crushing Damián. Zorro sends Ozz off the ropes now who springboards off with a moonsault but Zorro moves and hits him with a superkick. They head towards the corner and Zorro chops away at himthen sends him to the opposite and goes for a spear but Ozz moves and Zorro spills to the floor like a dummy. They gather back in the ring and Zorro takes down Cuervo with a clothesline. Blake holds Cuervo on the apron and Zorro rushes at them but Cuervo ducks and Zorro boots Blake to the floor. Cuervo trips up Zorro and goes for the cover but Blake breaks it up only for Cuervo to move away as she nails Zorro with an elbow drop. Cuervo sets her up for a powerbomb but Zorro javelins the kendo stick at him to break it up in a hilarious moment. Zorro grabs him and they chop each other then run the ropes and Cuervo takes him down with a bulldog. Damián is in with Cuervo now and applies a wristlock and tries to do a rope walk but Cuervo crotches him and he falls outside to the floor. Cuervo gets distracted by Bestia on the apron and Zorro catches him as he turns around with a superkick, then grabs the kendo stick and begins beating down both of them with it. Zorro takes out Tirantes Jr. with a kendo stick shot as he tries to stop him and Escoria and Taboo and clear ringside then get taken out with shots from the kendo stick via El Zorro as well. Charly arrives with a freaking cheese grater and goes after Zorro, busting him open. Any guy who brings a cheese grater to a fight is not the kind of guy you want to fight, for plenty of reasohs. Zorro is a bloody mess as Los Bizarros continue the beatdown on him and we go from an extremely bloody shot of Zorro to a shot of a smiling kid in the crowd wearing a Perros shirt. Charly gets on the microphone and challenges Zorro to a match at Rey de Reyes for the Megacampeonato.
4. Rey de Reyes semifinal: Halloween vs. Nicho el Millonario vs. L.A. Park vs. Dr. Wagner Jr.
Park and Wagner start off going after each other and Park takes his time doing his dance before they face off, then chops Wagner down and dances again. They punch back and forth and Wagner takes him down with a kick, then Park comes off the ropes with a clothesline and takes him down then proceeds to dance again until Nicho throws a chair at him to enter the match, ending the dance party. Nicho hits a final cut on Park then takes him up and off the top rope with a frankensteiner. Nicho climbs the opposite top rope but gets pulled off by Damián on the apron and Halloween goes up top after him only to get thrown off. Nicho then comes off with a plancha but Halloween catches him and hits a F5. Wagner and Halloween face off now and Halloween takes him down with a superkick then rushes at him only to get slid face first out of the ring. Park follows Wagner into the corner now with punches and then does his dance to the approval of the crowd. He kicks Wagner hard in the back of the leg and sends him into the opposite corner, only for Wagner to lift his legs and hit a sunset flip that Park rolls out of. Wagner runs at him and Park ducks twice before getting hit with a flying clothesline for a two count, then Wagner rolls him up again for another two count, and tries again but gets kicked in the gut. Park pulls him through the 2nd and 3rd ropes and walks onto the apron then gives him a nice reverse DDT against the apron with his legs hitting the top rope and his body falling to the outside, a pretty inventive move. Park goes for a dive but Nicho comes off top with a heel kickand then hits both ropes and leg drops him for a two. Nicho goes off the ropes again but Damián trips him up and Halloween catches him with a superkick, but Park pulls Damián off the apron and Nicho hits Halloween with a downward spiral. They fight to their feet and Nicho hits Halloween with a DDT and goes up top but is cut off by Wagner who goes for a superplex, then Park powerbombs Wagner as he superplexes him. Park sprints hard and takes out Damián with a nice tope but Wagner rushes at him and takes him out with a running tope con giro off the apron, only to get hit with a tope from Halloween, then Nicho hits the three of them with a springboard asai moonsault. In the ring, Park goes up top and comes off but Wagner lifts his feet up and hits Park in the face and then hits him with a shining wizard. Nicho and Halloween go two on one on Wagner, and they do a cool spot where Wagner leapfrogs a rushing Nicho into a spear off the second rope by Halloween. Wagner takes Halloween now and hits him with a Michinoku driver for a three count for the first elimination. Park back in and goes after Nicho with chops then catches him off the ropes with a powerslam for two. He takes down Wagner with two consecutive tackles but Wagner pops back up and hits him with an enziguri and all three men lay on the mat. Nicho rushes at Wagner with a kick but Wagner catches him and hits a dragon screw, then goes back after Park with a kick, and turns to Nicho but gets rolled up by him for two. Nicho goes for an enziguri but Wagner ducks and kicks him hard then pulls him up and hits him with a Michinoku driver too for a three count as Park watches from the corner. He takes down Park and an interfering Damián with a Michinoku driver and goes for a rollup on Park, but Park is alert and reverses the rollup into one of his own and gets a three count, then celebrates dancing and pumping his fists in the air. He talks to Mesías in the camera and tells him that he is going to win Rey de Reyes and laughs maniacally. This was a really awesome match. L.A. Park and Wagner both are great but Park especially was just such a fantastic rudo here, acting like an absolutely annoying jerk and pulling out the cheap win at the end after Wagner did all the hard work and then celebrating like he did all the work himself. The Mesías/Park matches are some of my absolute favorite matches on their own, but seeing the lead up to them has made them even better.
5. Extreme Tiger, Jack Evans, La Parka vs. Charly Manson, Cibernético, Escoria
La Parka is the last man out and dances in the aisleway as the fans go crazy but is immediately attacked by Los Bizarros and all six men begin brawling, with Bizarros having the advantage thanks to the extra man at ringside, Taboo. Cibernético and Taboo go to work on Parka with chairs from the crowd as Escoria and Charly are in the ring with Tiger and Charly hiptosses him into a set up set of chairs. The rudos have all sorts of chairs and Cibernético now leads a beatdown on Parka inside the ring as he watches on and smirks. Charly lays Jack across his knees and Escoria comes off the top with a leg drop that just crushes him. Charly beats down Parka against a railing on the outside and an old lady begins hitting Charly with her shoe until they are pulled apart, so at least she's putting up more of a fight than the técnicos at this point in the match. Jack comes off the apron onto Escoria with a springboard Trouble in Paradise kick that sends Escoria out and then hits a diving tijeras onto him on the outside for for the first técnico offense of the match but Extreme Tiger gets his head taken off by Charly with a clothesline inside the ring. Tiger moves quickly around Charly and hits a backflip dropkick then a nice tijeras. Charly gets dumped to the outside and Tiger hits a springboard tornillo that takes him out. Jack and Cibernético face off now, and Jack spins on his head to taunt him but then gets nailed with punches and backed into the corner. Jack fights back but gets tripped up by Taboo and pulled outside and now Parka and Cibernético face off to the approving roar of the crowd and Cibernético takes him down with a tackle. Cibernético tries to hold him for Escoria but he comes off top and Parka moves for him to nail Cibernético with a dropkick. Sasuke Special by Evans on Taboo outside as Escoria gets flapjacked by Parka down to the mat and then Parka hits a sidewalk slam for the three count but Los Bizarros immediately continue the beatdown. Zorro's music hits and he runs down with his kendo stick still covered in blood and takes out Charly, but the numbers catch up to him and Bizarros gang up on him to continue the beatdown. La Sociedad arrive with Konnan who walks to the ring, but Joaquin arrives as well with Dr. Wagner and their backup. Konnan and La Sociedad stand on the outside as Joaquin grabs the microphone and tells them that this is the beginning of them taking back AAA from La Sociedad and all the other groups. Wagner takes the microphone and tells them they are a family in AAA, and says they are going to take them down. He extends his hand to Parka and invites him to challenge them with him at Rey de Reyes, and the fans chant Parka's name as Wagner tells him he is not alone and they are a family. Parka is reluctant, and tells Wagner that he wants to do it all on his own. Wagner persists and finally Parka agrees to join his side, and they celebrate as Wagner's music plays.
This was a show that was mostly used to advance the storylines, so the main event, Heavy vs. Electroshock and the tag match both had a lot of interference and they didn't really get a chance to have a solid match. The Rey de Reyes match, however, was great, especially the stuff involving Park.
